What is the best way to contact you?
We have a contact section equipt with phone numbers and email adresses. It is best to call us for we are at the barn all day, every day.
We are located in Kaufman Texas at the Double Nickle. Please call or email for directions.
We buy them from individuals. We have a vast networking system, and very reliable friends. We are also known in the community for buying horses. We spend lots of time with tune ups, and getting to know the horse before they are offered up for sale.
That depends on if the horse is up to the same skill level of the one you want to trade for. If we cannot trade, we do offer commissioned based sales. We can help you sell your horse.
Whats up with the commissioned based sales?
We have different packages to offer. We can advertise your horse on this website and other websites. We can take photographs and video of your horse. We can also board our horse and put a tune up on him. It all depends, and so does the rates.
We rarely allow a pay out, but occasionally we do offer exceptions. Those exceptions include paying our full asking price on the horse, being able to pay off the horse swiftly, and leaving a deposit. We are not opposed to working with anyone to make a deal happen.
Boarding is available at the facility we are at. Our facility includes a covered arena with bucking shoots, roping shoots, barrels, nice bathrooms, bench seating and announcers box with PA system. Also includes race track, covered round pen, 2 covered horse walkers and 150 stalls. 100 stalls are 12x12, 50 stalls are 10x10. Also have a turn out pasture, paved parking, trailer hook ups and 24/7 staff available onsite. Self care starts at $100 a month, full care is $400. Please call for more information. We are located in Kaufman Texas just 2 miles off of 175. Discount for 4 or more horses.
If you bring the horse to me, I will buy it.
We are not likely to do that. There have been times when we did, only for someone not to show, and we were out gas and our time. So unless you can send us a non refundable deposit before we leave, this is unlikely.
Horse traders have bad names, and we know that. We put a lot of time and effort into our horses. We give tune ups to all our horses. We have a strict buying process so that we can find you great horses. We are honest and have previous customers that will back us up. If selling horses was like a car dealership, we would be like Carmax. We are honest, and not "fly by night" type horse people.
We have kids ourselves, and if we tell you this will be a good horse for your child, we mean that. We have been burned by horse traders ourselves, and we would never do that evil to someone. We are good honest Texans, and you can take that to the bank!
Look at our sold horses page. We have sold a lot of horses and we still have a good reputation. We work hard to keep a good reputation. Do some research, ask around about us. Feel free to contact us with references.
More then likely we can, but go ahead and call us to make sure.
We prefer cash, but if you must pay with a check, we will accept. The horse can not leave the property until the funds have cleared. So if you want to take the horse home sooner, please stop by the bank and get cash.You will also be required to put your DL number and phone number on the check.
Can I come out to ride the horses?
Only if you are serious about buying the horse. We are very busy, and so are our horses. If you are looking for a free ride for the weekend, please do not waste our time. We are very busy making sure are horses are in top shape. If you are seriously considering one of our horses for your family, you are more then welcome to come out.
I am looking for a particular horse that y'all don't have. Can you find him for me?
We do that ALL the time. If you explain to us what kind of horse that you are looking for, and we find one for you, don't feel that you have to buy the horses just because we got him/her for you. If you don't want the horse, someone will.
I am really interested in that horse. Can I come out next week?
Sure you can. But be aware that the quality of horses that we have do not last long. We price them for a quick sale. I can't tell you how many times someone really wanted one of our horses only to find out that we sold it the previous day. So don't hesitate!
That means that someone has put a deposit on the horse. If you are interested in that horse, go ahead and send us an email and we will let you know if the deal falls through.
I decided I want one of your horses, can you hold him for me?
The only way we can hold the horse is if you put a non refundable deposit on the horse. The deposit is non refundable because we are taking the horse off the market.
Yes, everyone needs an appointment. You need to call us before you leave your house, or at least 1 hour before you arive so we can hold the horse until you get there, and to make sure we are there.
We price our horses below market value so they sell fast. Our horses usually sell within a few days, usually no more then a week or two. If you want to have the advantage of seeing our horses when they first get on the website, become a member. You will recieve an email as soon as I put a new horse on the site.
