T&C Horses

I only have one riding horse and he is not for a novice. He bucks if he isn't lunged beforehand (and I mean really worked). He was a trained hunter/jumper who was given away because of his training issues and bad habits. Riding him is a lot of work and you have to focus and pay attention to every one of his signals. He's very spooky, too. Anyway, I want a horse that I can ride when I need to relax after a long day at work...a horse that I don't need to work out for an hour before saddling. I want a horse that my friends can ride, too. I always ride alone so it would be nice to have a trustyworthy horse for someone else. I'm looking for a small but stocky and strong horse who is almost "bombproof". I hate using that word because I realize that no horse is perfect that way. I prefer a gelding but a mare is fine as long as she doesn't act "mareish. I live near a state park so I would also need a horse that loads well so I can take him/her over to the trails.
