Are you trying to sale your horse to no avail? We can help!
Selling horses can be a headache! Trust me, I know! We get emails all the time asking for help selling peoples horses so we came up with something that can help benefit us all! We have a few options and I will inform you about all of them so you can make a decision.
Option A: You bring your horses out to us, or we come to you (and charge you for our gas expenses). We will photograph your horse and take videos of you riding him. If you want our trainer to ride your horse, we will charge more. We can evaluate your horse and give you a reasonable estimate for what we think your horse will sale for. I will then touch up the photos (Not taking defects away, just making the picture prettier and fixing lighting and stuff like that), and edit the videos and publish them on our website. I will advertise your horse for you on craigslist and horse classified websites. The cool thing about this site is, every time someone looks on our site at one of our horses, they will see your horse. We get about 200 views a day on the site so that is a lot of people looking at your horse. I will re-up your craigslist ads, and fight the notorious flaggers for you. I will also tell my clients about your horse, and contact previous contacts if I think your horse is the right horse for them. I will list your phone number so that you handle all the phone calls, and forward you all the emails. You will handle all the customers and we will talk with you and give you tips about handling them. This option cost $45.
Option B: Is the same as option A, but I will handle the customers for you. I will schedule appointments for clients to visit your horse at your convenience. This option cost $60.
Option C: We take care of EVERYTHING. Your horse stays with us while we try to sell him. We will ride him and do a quick tune up, handle all the advertisement, and take care of him until he sales. We charge 25% commission of the sale price, and you pay for feed and hay. However, we can't accept every horse for this option. Horses that aren't broke, haven't been ridden for a long time, not sound, not healthy, stallions, or dangerous horses can not be accepted for this program.
Stuff you need to know!
When selling your horse, most people mistake sentimental value with market value. Most people will try to sell their horse for way too much. Yes, you might get lucky and get your asking price, but it is unlikely. Also, just because you paid $2000 for training 2 years ago, doesn't mean you will get that back. You must also understand that the horse market isn't what it was a few years ago. Please don't be offended if we tell you your horse wont sell for what you want it to. We sell horses full time and we know at what price they will sell and what price they wont sell. When trying to sell a horse, it isn't what its worth, its what it will sell for.
